LMC Group Board

The LMC Group oversees the Library Marketing and Communication Conference -- meet its Board!

LMC Group - the 501(3)c nonprofit created in 2017 to manage and oversee the Library Marketing and Communications Conference, and to further our purpose: to advance, promote and support the knowledge and understanding of marketing and communications among library professionals, library staff and those who work in or with all types of libraries. The Board is actively involved in recruiting new members, for the conference teams, to serve as advisors to Board, and for membership on the Board itself.

The success of the board as well as the conference teams rely on the support of our association management partners, Amigos Library Services. Our Amigos liaison to the Board is Tracy Byerly.

The board voted in November 2018 to expand and welcome new voices to the organization to guide it through future growth and long-term stability. We continue to recruit new potential volunteers for both conference and board service.

We thank outgoing Board member, Joan Petit, Communications and Outreach Librarian and Associate Professor at Portland State University, Oregon, for her service as Secretary - she has left the Board as of January 2019. We also thank Barbara Fullerton, owner and founder of Librarian in the Cloud, Kansas, for her service as Treasurer - she has left the Board as of June 2019.
