Who We Are

The Library Marketing Conference Group offers an annual conference and regular webinars to help you grow your skills, make connections, and lead your library to success.

Who we are

The Library Marketing Conference Group (LMCG) is a 501(3)c nonprofit that was created in 2017 to manage and oversee the Library Marketing and Communications Conference. LMCG’s purpose is to advance, promote, and support the knowledge and understanding of marketing and communications among library professionals, library staff, and those who work in or with all types of libraries and information centers.

What We Do

The Library Marketing and Communication Group produces an annual conference—Library Marketing and Communications Conference, affectionately referred to as LMCC - that is the only conference designed specifically for library marketing and communications. Each conference includes two full days of content with two empowering keynotes, approximately 30 innovative concurrent sessions from knowledgeable speakers, and numerous opportunities to network, commiserate, teach, and learn. Throughout the year, webinars and online conferences provide additional opportunities for learning and connection.

History

The first LMCC was held in 2015 in Dallas, Texas, with nearly 200 attendees. Since then, LMCC has grown to reach more library marketing professionals from all over the United States and other countries. Around 450 people now attend the annual conference to learn about marketing and communications best practices from their peers and come away with new ideas and energy to grow marketing at their libraries.
