The Library Marketing and Communications Conference (LMCC), the only event of its type for this library specialty, is designed for library employees of any level who are involved in marketing, communications, public relations, social media, and outreach in academic, public, and special libraries. Conference sessions will explore issues important to this niche of library work, and the event will include time for attendees to network and discuss mutual challenges.
This conference has sold out in the past, so don't wait to register!
The Library Marketing and Communications Group (LMCG) saw a gap in professional development opportunities for librarians who work in marketing and communications and is working to bridge that gap by providing education, training, and networking opportunities for library professionals, library staff, and those who work in or with all types of libraries and information centers. We’re excited to bring you a timely, practical, inspiring, and collegiate event explicitly geared toward the necessary work of library marketing and communications. LMCC aims to showcase the tried and true, the latest trends, and the best practices in marketing and communications. Sessions and speakers will provide practical tips and takeaways that can be immediately applied to any library’s communication and marketing efforts. We want all types of libraries to be in better positions to have their messages heard and to have their services well-used and appreciated.
Registered attendees will receive Sched invitations after registration ends on October 24th. Review this schedule in advance lmcc25-simple.pdf

Libraries invest considerable time and effort into creating annual reports filled with compelling stories, impactful statistics, and updates on their work and vision. But too often, these valuable assets are shared once — and then forgotten. What if your annual report could do more?
In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to transform your annual report into a strategic, year-long marketing campaign that continually proves your library’s value. You’ll discover how to break your report into monthly themes that align with your library calendar, tailor content to specific audiences, and turn data into calls to action that inspire support and engagement.
By the end of this session, you’ll walk away with:
Leigh Gaddy is the Marketing Specialist at NoveList. She finds immense satisfaction in working alongside libraries, offering ideas for their marketing, and helping them help their readers! Before coming to NoveList, Leigh worked for 12 years for nonprofits, including five years at a public library.
