Presented by:
Renee Grassi, Librarian and Accessibility Consultant
Event Description:
Libraries are lifelines for people with disabilities, providing access to information, connection, learning, employment resources, recreation, and technology. But without inclusive marketing, many of these services may go unknown and unused by the disability community.
In this webinar, you’ll learn how to strengthen the accessibility of your print, digital, and online communications. We’ll explore practical strategies to increase awareness of your library’s services and create more welcoming, inclusive experiences for people of all abilities.
Participants will:
- Gain strategies for building and sustaining trust with disabled and neurodivergent patrons.
- Learn how to use accessible, inclusive, and disability-friendly language.
- Gather tips for creating compliant and accessible graphic design across digital platforms.
- Learn how to leverage online channels to better reach and connect with patrons with disabilities.
- Explore best practices and real-world examples of accessible communication from libraries.
This webinar will be recorded. A link to the recording and the presentation slides will be sent out to all paid registrants after the conclusion of the event.
Registration Fee: $59.00
Registration deadline: Wednesday, April 1st.
