Libraries invest considerable time and effort into creating annual reports filled with compelling stories, impactful statistics, and updates on their work and vision. But too often, these valuable assets are shared once — and then forgotten. What if your annual report could do more?
In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to transform your annual report into a strategic, year-long marketing campaign that continually proves your library’s value. You’ll discover how to break your report into monthly themes that align with your library calendar, tailor content to specific audiences, and turn data into calls to action that inspire support and engagement.
By the end of this session, you’ll walk away with:
- A ready-to-use campaign plan that saves time and streamlines your marketing efforts.
- Tools to increase community engagement and stakeholder support.
- Strategies to build consistent, compelling messaging throughout the year.
- Confidence in measuring and communicating your campaign’s impact.
Note: Attendees are encouraged to bring their annual reports (drafts for 2026 or past reports) to use during hands-on activities

Leigh Gaddy:
Leigh Gaddy is the Marketing Specialist at NoveList. She finds immense satisfaction in working alongside libraries, offering ideas for their marketing, and helping them help their readers! Before coming to NoveList, Leigh worked for 12 years for nonprofits, including five years at a public library. Leigh is a voracious reader, an award-winning writer, and lives in the glorious mountains of Colorado with her family.

Angela Hursh:
Angela Hursh leads an outstanding team of marketing and training professionals at NoveList. A 2023 Library Journal Mover & Shaker, she is the author of the blog SuperLibraryMarketing.com and host of the weekly YouTube series The Library Marketing Show.
Before her job at NoveList, Angela led the content marketing team for the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. She also has more than 20 years of experience as an Emmy-award-winning broadcast TV journalist.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Cancellations received by October 24, 2025, will receive a full refund minus a $25.00 processing fee. Cancellations received after this date will only be granted a refund in the case of a medical emergency, which is defined as an event necessitating a visit to the emergency room and/or a hospital stay, or a death in the immediate family. Registrations are transferrable to other staff within the same organization. Cancellation requests should be submitted in writing to LCC@amigos.org
